Help us help them

Since 1994, Florida Poodle Rescue has become a haven for Poodles in need of a new loving home for whatever reason. Every dog that comes to us is given basic veterinary care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations and dentals. Should other veterinary care be needed, we do not hesitate to provide it. Our dogs are also groomed so they can “put their best paw forward” for potential adoptive families.

All of this is costly, and adoption fees typically cover less than half of the expenses we incur. And while we have fundraisers throughout the year, financial assistance is an ongoing necessity. Thanks to your generosity, Florida Poodle Rescue has never had to close its doors to a dog who desperately needs us. Please read below for ways to help us continue to help Poodles.

Monthly Donation
Our rescue work is vital to the community. Please help us continue to save dogs in need by signing up for a recurring monthly donation. Your automatic monthly contribution will help us continue to provide medical care, food, and shelter for abandoned and abused Poodles.
Matching Donations
Nationwide, thousands of companies offer to match charitable donations made by their employees or retirees. Some of the largest employers in Florida, including Kaplan and Walt Disney Co, participate in matching programs. There is a partial list of companies that match donations here. If you don’t see your company listed, ask your HR Department if they participate. It’s an easy way to maximize the impact of your donation.
Estate Planning
A bequest to Florida Poodle Rescue through your will or trust helps ensure that we can continue to carry out our mission of helping Poodles receive the care they need.  By remembering Florida Poodle Rescue in your estate planning, you can leave a legacy that will benefit future generations of Poodles and help provide for our future work. Please consult your professional tax advisor or attorney to discuss the tax benefits of charitable donations included as part of your estate plan.
